cut-to-length stroke harvester
The wireless measuring device increases the possibilities of using the Naarva stroke harevsters. In addition to energy wood, pulpwood and firewood, the stroke harvester can also be used to make cut-to-length saw timber.
The measuring device automatically delimbs the wood to the desired length and and then cuts the tree. The desired length can be set using a phone or tablet. The tablet or phone acts as a display for the measuring device and the measuring device itself is located on the stroke harvester head. There are six lenghts one can register. Diameter measuring is available as an accessory.
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, there is no need to pull any cables to the stroke harvester. The Naarva measuring device kit contains a 7″ Android tablet computer, directional valve, steel case for the measuring device, sensors for delimbing and cutting, two batteries and a charger. The measuring device is also available for retrofitting.
